Before you set off.
The six questions we hear most often. If yours isn't here, just write — we usually reply within one business day.
From first contact to confirmed booking.
How do I book a trip?
Pick a tour that matches your travel style and reach out via the contact form on the tour page or directly by email at [email protected]. Our trip manager replies within one business day and creates a soft hold — the booking is only finalised once route and dates are locked in.
For pre-trip questions you can also reach us by phone or WhatsApp at +996 702 555 014.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Most guests pay cash on arrival at our office in Bishkek — in Euro, US dollars or Som. Bank transfer in advance is also fine; we send the wire details by email after booking confirmation.
For bookings made more than six months in advance we recommend a 20% deposit, deducted from the final amount.
When Kyrgyzstan has its own plans.
Can the programme change while we're on the road?
Yes — and sometimes it has to. In the mountains the weather shifts in minutes, a pass can close at short notice, a host yurt can be full in high season. When that happens we work on the ground for a like-for-like alternative: a different jailoo camp in the same valley, a neighbouring yurt, a different route to the same destination.
What stays the same: the trip's red thread, its highlights, and its value. Any change is communicated openly — nothing gets quietly dropped.
What's included — and what isn't.
What's included in the trip price?
The standard trip price includes:
- Transport in air-conditioned vehicles with driver, plus domestic flights where part of the programme
- Accommodation as listed (hotel, guesthouse, yurt)
- Meals as marked in the daily plan (usually breakfast and dinner)
- Equipment for the listed activities (horses, tent, sleeping bag if needed)
- Entry tickets & national park fees, Burana Tower, conservation levies
- Local guide (English / German) on the ground
Per-tour details under "Tour includes" on each tour page.
What's not included?
Not included:
- International flights (Frankfurt / Munich / Berlin → Bishkek)
- Trains and long-distance buses outside the trip programme
- Tips for drivers, guides and host families — guideline 5 – 10 € per day
- Drinks in restaurants outside the listed meals
- Visa (EU citizens travel visa-free up to 60 days, so usually irrelevant)
- Travel health insurance with repatriation cover — strongly recommended
- Personal expenses (souvenirs, additional activities)
What do I need to pack?
On the trip-prep page there's a full packing list with 33 items across 5 categories — clothing, footwear, sun & weather, health, extras. Tickable, with progress bar, saved in your browser, and downloadable as a PDF.
Short version for those in a hurry: warm layers, waterproof footwear, SPF 50+, hat, headlamp, power bank, small-denomination cash.
We reply personally.
